Day two of our Rogers Scholars camp at Lindsey Wilson College!

Our scholars began their day by discussing community service. After they return home from Lindsey Wilson College, each Rogers Scholar completes a community service project in their own home area. Scholars discussed the projects they plan to implement when they return home.

Scholars heard from Dr. Chris Schmidt, Dean of Students at Lindsey Wilson College. Dr. Schmidt spoke to students about the importance of commitment, dedication, and hard work to the tasks they set their mind to.

After lunch, Rogers Scholars traveled to Levi Jackson Wilderness State Park in Laurel County, Kentucky to participate in the Treetop Adventure High Ropes Course. They learned to build their leadership and communication skills through challenging teambuilding, trust, and communication activities.

We ended a busy day with some pool time and games!

We can’t wait for more fun to come!
