2018 Rogers Scholar Chase Eastham of Pulaski County

On May 14, you will have an opportunity to support The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars, Rogers Explorers, and Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (ELI) on Kentucky Gives Day.

Kentucky Gives Day is an online 24-hour annual fundraising event bringing charities and Kentuckians—-near and far—together for a powerful day of giving.

Our goal is to raise $2,500 to help support middle and high school students in Southern and Eastern Kentucky who attend our three summer youth leadership programs.

Your support will go a long way toward helping us provide valuable leadership and entrepreneurial skills these students need to become our region’s next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.

“I would not trade my time at Rogers Explorers and Rogers Scholars for the world,” said Gracie Johnson, a 2018 Rogers Scholars and 2016 Rogers Explorers graduate. “The gratitude that I have for the opportunities these programs provided me with is immeasurable.”

You may make an online, tax-deductible donation to The Center’s youth leadership programs any time between now and May 14.

Visit our Kentucky Gives Day donation page to learn how you can give to support our region’s youth.

Kentucky Gives Day officially begins at midnight (EST) on May 14 and continues through 11:59 p.m. (EST). In the last five years, Kentucky Gives Day has raised more than $1.6 million for nearly 500 nonprofits with 11,000 donations.
