Support the youth of Southern and Eastern Kentucky and Get Your Glow On at our 5K Glow Run and Walk on October 20, 2017 at 7pm at The Center for Rural Development.

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 20 for the 5th Annual Rogers Scholars 5K Glow Run/Walk at The Center for Rural Development.

Proud participant of the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Journey to Fitness race series.

This race is CHIP TIMED.

Race time is 7pm. All ages welcome!  Join us for a great cause!

Registration fees have been reduced!! New fee listed below:

  • Adults (13 & up) – $25 $20
  • Youth (12 & under) – $20 $10
  • Teams/Groups (5 or more) – $20 $15/participant
  • Day of – $25
  • 1 free t-shirt with registration.

Team Challenge option! Gather your friends, co-workers, family, etc. and participate as a team. Top 3 teams will be recognized during the awards ceremony.


  • Top 3 overall male and female.
  • Awards given in the following age groups for male and female (age groups based on age as of 12/31/17):
    • 10 and under;
    • 11-14;
    • 15-19;
    • 20-29;
    • 30-39;
    • 40-49;
    • 50-59;
    • 60-69;
    • 70 and over;
  • Top 3 teams will be recognized during the awards ceremony.

Call for Vendors

We are inviting family-friendly vendors, to set-up for our 5th annual Rogers Scholars Glow Run/ Walk. This is an event that benefits our youth programs, allowing them to participate for FREE in the Rogers Scholars program, all because of your help. They learn leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills, and have the ability to earn college scholarships. We can’t do it without you! It is also a GREAT way to market your business, and get your product noticed within the community. Don’t miss your chance to support this wonderful cause.

Business/craft vendor: $50
Non-profit vendor: $35
