Day one of our fourth Rogers Explorers camp of the summer!

Ninth grade students are spending three days on the campus of the Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.

When the students arrived on campus this afternoon, they participated in a ropes course facilitated by the Campus Recreation Staff at Eastern Kentucky University. They learned to build their leadership and communication skills through challenging team building activities.

After some fun games and dinner with friends, our students completed a community service project. Rogers Explorers wrote encouraging cards, notes, and letters to local Hosparus Health patients. Our students have a passion for community service, and are very active in their own communities. Our Rogers Explorers ended their busy day with some fun snacks and games together.

We can’t wait for day two!
