Day one of our second Rogers Explorers camp of the summer!

Ninth grade students are spending three days on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky.

When the students arrived on campus this afternoon, they spent time getting to know their fellow Rogers Explorers in some fun getting-to-know-you games facilitated by students of Lindsey Wilson College. They were also given a campus tour.

After some fun games and dinner with friends, our students completed a community service project. Rogers Explorers pulled weeds, planted vegetables, and prepared land plots for future gardens at the Adair County Community Garden. Students were led by Dr. Michael Bosela, professor of biology at Lindsey Wilson College.

Our Rogers Explorers ended their busy day with some pizza and games at the Student Union Building at Lindsey Wilson College.

We can’t wait for day two!
