2019 Rogers Scholar Anna Marie Gulock, a junior at Somerset High School, donated this framed canvas painting to Sky Hope Women’s Recovery Center as part of her community service project. The butterfly is a symbol used by Sky Hope to represent the women’s journey. “I wanted to offer them something beautiful and a reminder of the hope that is always there for recovery,” she said of her original piece of art. In addition, Gulock donated more than 100 pairs of new and gently used tennis shoes and socks for the women to use during their daily walk. Gulock is the daughter of Scott and Becky Gulock of Somerset.
