2020 Rogers Scholar and Taylor County High School student Peyton McCubbin, in cooperation with the Taylor County Beta Club, organized a clean-up project for a popular recreational trail.

“I have always loved Trace Pitman Greenway, and I am so glad to get to serve the community by cleaning up this beautiful walking trail. This project was extremely successful, and I look forward to completing projects to serve my community in the future.”

Each graduate of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program is required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
