2021 Rogers Scholar Bailey Bullock, a student at Rockcastle County High School, organized a community drive to collect personal care items for victims of domestic violence.

She worked with the Christian Appalachian Project (CPA) to provide items most needed and often forgotten when making donations.

“When choosing a project to complete for Rogers Scholars, I looked for a cause that was close to my heart.”

Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
