2021 Rogers Scholar and Leslie County High School student Karaline “Autumn” Melton organized a food drive for The Pantry for her community service project.

“I know it can be difficult for parents to pay for food for their children during the summer months. I loved doing this project because I know it will help many families keep food on the table this summer.”

Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
