2022 Rogers Scholar Sunni Ann Partin, a student at Knox Central High School, organized a clothing drive for her community service project.

Approximately 125 people attended the event, held at First Baptist Church Artemus. The church’s WMU women’s ministry served free food and those in attendance received Bibles donated by the Gideons.

“This community event was truly a blessing to me and many other people. Seeing the men, women, and children who came into the gym at my church so happy to be getting quality, free clothes was so humbling. It made me happy to see the smiles on the faces of people impacted by this event.”

Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project.
