2022 Rogers Scholar and Bath County High School student Caroline Rushing is giving back to Crossroads Elementary School.
She organized a “Clothes for Kindness” campaign to benefit the students and the school’s family resource center.
“This project was very near and dear to my heart. Growing up with a mom as a teacher, I learned how big an impact something as small as a new shirt or a new pair of pants can have on a child.”
Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
