Day one of Rogers Explorers started off with a trip to the Eastern Kentucky University Challenge Course. Students participated in a low ropes challenge course that taught them the importance of communication and teamwork.

Following dinner, students met with a representative of Bluegrass Care Navigators. Students created holiday and birthday cards for Hospice patients in Knox, Laurel, Clay, Whitley, Harlan, and Bell counties.

After the service project, EKU admissions met with students to do some getting to know you activities and spoke to them about the university. They even got to visit with Colonel Cooper who showed them a few tricks. The admissions department provided the students with Kona Ice to cap off the evening. Everyone is looking forward to tomorrow.
