2020 Rogers Scholar and Menifee County High School student Seth Smallwood gives back to his community by volunteering at DaySpring Church’s Food Pantry. He helps unload deliveries and packages and prepares food boxes for families in need.

“God has blessed my family and blessed me. My father is able to work and provide for us and has blessed me with an able body; therefore, I have been able to use my blessings to help those who are less fortunate by volunteering at the food pantry.”

Each graduate of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program is required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
