2021 Rogers Scholar Emily Mays, a student at Lakeside Christian Academy, delivered donated items she collected in a community drive and a monetary donation to Godspeed Maternity Home for homeless, single, pregnant women.
“I think it is important that these babies and women will be in a good home and off the street. It is an amazing opportunity to minister to these women who may have never heard the Word of God, and to also, even if it is for just for a few years, raise their children in a Godly environment.”
