2022 Rogers Scholar and Somerset High School student Madilynn Zimmerman decided to organize a food drive for God’s Food Pantry for her community service project.

With a little help from family and friends, Madilynn launched “Project Feed” to collect and deliver non-perishable food items for the pantry.

“I had many ideas of how to help people, but this one stood out. Being able to provide food for people in need is something that held a place in my heart.”

Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
