2022 Rogers Scholar and West Jessamine High School student Talley Price supported veterans at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore for her community service project.

She visited the center and presented each veteran with a gift in a show of appreciation for their sacrifice and service.

“This project meant a lot to me, because it was a labor of love to show my gratitude to veterans. I’m a strong believer in providing appreciation to veterans who have sacrificed everything to serve our country.”

Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
