2022 Rogers Scholar and Somerset Christian School student Gabe Baker donated snacks, water/drinks, and gift cards to be used for the purchase of refreshments and convenience foods onsite while families are staying with their loved ones at Hospice of Lake Cumberland’s Jean Waddle Care Center at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

“I know how difficult this time is for everyone involved. I wanted to try to make patients and families more comfortable during their stay by providing snacks and food. This way they can remain at the hospital and are able to spend valuable time with their loved one.”

In 2021, Gabe had two grandparents who entered Hospice care at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
