2022 Rogers Scholar and Wolfe County High School student Isabella “Bella” Salyers provided toys and games for children displaced by the Eastern Kentucky flood for her community service project.

“This project made my heart feel so happy. It felt rewarding to be able to provide some entertainment for these children. I hope I was able to bring a little bit of joy to their day.”

Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit www.centeryouthprograms.com.
